what do i do? a bit of this and that...

psuedo-musician in april 2009, i chucked my diligently earned, successful career of 8 years. i had worked quite hard to accomplish
more than i could have imagined...then i quit the job of my dreams. i moved to LA with hopes of hacking it as a
creative independent. issue with dream job? location. (vegas.) after 2 blow-my-freakin-brains-out years in the cultureless
city, i abruptly traded (on a whim) for a place which i'd only first visited months prior. (far more preparation than the
time i packed my car and jumped to sin city completely blind.) i'm an iowa girl, born & raised. i'd lived there all my life before deciding i needed
to explore the world outside my beautifully quiet farm state. moving to a place you've never been is an exhilerating experience...one
i highly recommend. this transition has been the most precarious
(and best) decision of my life. i adore this city. even more than i thought capable. it takes my breath away constantly.
daily. for this and more, i am so grateful. i feel i should be a bit more terrified, but then the excitement ensues. for the
first time in a very long while...i feel "home".
